Funeral services for Marie Johnson, 85, of Dubach were held at 11:00am Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating, followed by a private burial at Hamilton Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Johnson, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home April 11, 2016. She was a member of the First United Pentecostals of Dubach.

She was preceded in death by her husband Huey P. Johnson; 1 son, J. R. Murphy; 1 daughter, Dianne Hudson; 1 great grandson, Tyler Downs; and 1 great granddaughter, Dianne McKee.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons: Victor Johnson and Johnny Johnson both of Farmerville; 2 daughters: Betty Hartwick & husband, Paul of Farmerville and Kay Chandler & husband, Si of Ruston; 3 sisters: Bonnie Jean Phillips and Mercile Harkins both of Dubach and Mary Ann Bearden of Farmerville; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; Rosiland Wines, who was just like a daughter; a host of nieces & nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Visitation was Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
