Graveside services for Margie Nell Barron Oliver, 72, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating.

Mrs. Nell Oliver was born on August 13, 1949 in Jonesboro, La. and passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 in Farmerville, La. after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. Nell was known for her giving heart and always having a little something to give her loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, shopping, and baking her famous chocolate sheet cake.  She was loved by her family and will be deeply missed.

Nell is preceded in death by her parents, Frank C. Barron and Delzie Barron Courtney; husband, James D. Oliver Sr; son, Justin Barron Oliver, and daughter, Andree' Oliver Harrell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James D. Oliver, Jr. and wife Mandy; sisters, Ann Barron Green, Jane Barron, and Donna Barron Whiddon; five grandchildren: Brittany Harrell, Natalie Harrell, Kane Oliver, Katelynn Oliver, Kaleb Oliver; nieces April Johnson, Miranda Moss; nephews Joseph Odom, Nicholas Green, and Daniel Whiddon; along with other family and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be Kane Oliver, Kaleb Oliver, Joseph Odom, Nicholas Green, Daniel Whiddon, John-Barron Johnson, and Brett Johnson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. June Lovett and the staff at Arbor Rose Assisted Living for the loving care they provided.
