Memorial services for Marcia Futch Owen, 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating and under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Marcia was employed with CenturyLink for 25 years as a Software Engineer.  She was a 1983 graduate of Farmerville High School and a 1993 graduate of Louisiana Tech University.  Marcia went to her heavenly home on February 2, 2021, surrounded by family.  A lifelong resident of Farmerville, Marcia was a loving mother to her three children, she had a personality that was impossible to forget, filled with incredibly witty remarks and pranks.  If Marcia was present there was sure to be a good time had by all.  She was a devoted mother, teaching her children determination and impeccable work ethic.   Marcia always believed she was the greatest Liver Pool Rummy card player of the family, even if she had to change the rules of the game, a little!!!  There was no place that made Marcia happier than a ballfield watching her kids play.  With a pencil in her hand, a score book in her lap, and a box of Red Hot's in the cup holder of her chair, to Marcia, that was heaven on earth.  Some of the happiest times were spent with her children on the beach or at a ballgame.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Carl "Buck" Futch; paternal grandparents, Jess & Alma Shaw Futch; and maternal grandparents, T.T. & Ida Belle McCormick Gray.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ann Gray of Farmerville, La.; three children, Justin Owen & wife, Ashley of Choudrant, La., Duncan Owen of Farmerville, La. and Ann Marie Griffin & husband, Matt of Farmerville, La.; sister, Carla Wilkes & husband, James of Farmerville, La.; brother, J.J. Futch & wife, Meredith of West Monroe, La.; nephews, Zach Wilkes & wife, Anne, Josh Wilkes, Thomas Futch and Will Richardson; and a host of friends she considered family.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
