Funeral services for Lovie Nell Harrell Kennedy, 81, will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville with Stan Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Bird's Chapel Cemetery in Truxno under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Kennedy, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home March 22, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Kennedy; son, Steven Lane Kennedy; 3 sisters: Mary Sue Nale, Jean Mason and Aliene Calloway; parents: Allen & Lovie Harrell; and grandparents: Tom & Sally Pyle.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters: Nelda Kennedy Coleman & husband Jerry of Shreveport, LA and Peggy Kennedy Hardin & husband Mark of Spring, TX.; 5 grandchildren: Bryan Turk, Amy Lewing & husband Reece, Chad Hardin & wife Kathryn, Brad Hardin, and Matt Hardin & wife Alysa; 8 great granddaughters: Megan Marshall, Madison Marshall, Emily Lewing, Payton Hardin,, Haylee Hardin, Morgan Hardin, Kacy Hardin and Michelle Hardin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Turk, Chad Hardin, Matt Hardin, Brad Hardin, Steve Calloway and Stan Calloway.

Visitation is Saturday from 1:00pm until time of service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
