Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Sue Huey, age 79 of Dubach, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2025 at Evergreen Baptist Church with Bro. Reagan Colvin officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Sue married her husband, Willie Huey, Sr. and they were married 49 years before his passing. She was employed with Lincoln Parish School System as a Custodian for 22 years. Sue attended church at First Baptist Church in Dubach and Evergreen Baptist Church. She was a child of God and Philippians 4:13 was her favorite verse, among many others that she memorized. Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and was devoted to helping others.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Huey Sr.; parents: Robert Lee and Nettie Green Holland; sisters: Linda Hart and Patsy Brown; brother: Kenny Holland; daughter in law: Mary Huey; and great grandsons: Tyler and Nathaniel Brazzel.

She is survived by her son: Willie Huey, Jr. (Roxie); grandchildren: Willie Huey, III. (Kristin), Melissa Kelley (Josh), Loretta Colvin (J.J.), Mariah Carrico (Steve), and Darleese Loggins (D.); great grandchildren: Mary Sue Huey, Nettie Christine Huey, Kassidy Kelley, Destiny Carrico, Cameron Carrico, Sydney Carrico, Braxton Colvin, and Chase Colvin, Kamryn King and Hayden Loggins; two great great grandchildren: Nathaniel and Opie Brazzel; two brothers: Bobby Holland (Loretta) and George Holland (Becky); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Huey, III., Steve Carrico, Josh Kelley, J.J. Colvin, D. Loggins, Braxton Colvin, Jeff Snipe, and Cameron Carrico.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Evergreen Baptist Church.
