A graveside service for Mrs. Leta Mae Hearron, age 81 of Spearsville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Liberty Cemetery in Spearsville, La. Bro. Ray Hearron will be officiating.

Mrs. Leta attended school in Cotton Valley, LA. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA and she retired from the Union Parish School Board after many years working in the cafeteria at Spearsville Schools.

Mrs. Leta was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Idell Dick Buford; granddaughter, Paige Elkins; grandson, Jonah Hearron; and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elmer Vaughn Hearron; children, Mary Ann Hurst (Keith), Chris Osgood (Kevin), and Shane Hearron (Tammy); grandchildren, Caleb Elkins (Bridget), Allyssa Henery, Fera Hearron, Ashton Hearron, Tristan, Hearron, Jace Cranford, Nealey Elkins, Trey Hanson, Crystal Johnson (Sean), Dustin Osgood, and Anna Hanson; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Williams, Beck Tilley, Linda Wood (Ricky), and Wilma Wilkins; brother, Bo Buford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
