Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Laveina Johnson Bearden, age 81 of Farmerville, LA, will be held Tuesday, November 08, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Officiating the service will be Bro. Tony Walton. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Laveina was born on March 12, 1941 and went to her heavenly home November 04, 2022. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church for over 50 years where she attended regularly until her health wouldn't let her. She loved God and all her family very much. Mrs. Laveina lived a simple life, she loved her pets, flowers, and gardening. She loved cooking for her family and fed anyone who came hungry. Reading was her favorite past time and she could read a good book within a few hours. Mrs. Laveina lived a simple life and had the most generous, sweetest, kindest heart.

Mrs. Laveina is preceded in death by her husband Emmett Bearden, her parents: Ray and Littie Johnson, her brother: Charles Johnson, and her granddaughter: Cassie Cordova

Laveina is survived by her son: Henry Bearden, daughters: Tammy Cordova and husband Michael, Lisa Harper and husband Jimmy, two sisters: Maxine Skains and Ann Johnson, granddaughter Heather Dickinson and husband Chris, grandsons: Wade Martin and wife Abigail and Steven Martin and wife Lindsey, and eight great grandkids. She also had two dogs, Sam and Rosie, who she cared for and loved. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Cummings, Dennis Lannon, John Skains, Henry Bearden, Michael Cordova, and Chris Dickinson. Serving as honorary pallbearers are John Green and Sephiroth Dickinson.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 08, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
