Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence E. Kennedy, 82, of Farmerville, La. are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Kennedy passed away on June 19, 2021.  Mr. Lawrence was a well-known cabinet maker for over 32 years.  As a contractor, he had the talent to build many things.  He also enjoyed writing and reading poetry.  Mr. Kennedy serviced his country in the United States Air Force.  Mr. Lawrence loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and he enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents, Bert & Cora Albritton Kennedy; two brothers, R.B. Kennedy, Jr. and Woodfin Gray Kennedy; and three sisters, Lucille Hollis, Louise Puddister and LaVene Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Doris Bishop Kennedy; son, John Kennedy; daughter, Sharon Us'sutteri (Al); sister, Terry Davidson (March); grandchildren, Nur, Abduraman, Ibtisan, Abdulla, Ibrahim, Hajar, Amnah, Sarah, Fatima, Khadijah and Hasson; and a host of other family and friends.
