Funeral services for Lawrence "Buzzy" Dumestre, Jr., 58, of Marion, La. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, near Linville, La., under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Buzzy passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  Buzzy enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved being outdoors.  He was a simple man who liked helping others.  He really loved joking around and entertaining friends.

Buzzy was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence J. Dumestre, Sr. and Elizabeth Burchell; sister, Tina Phillips; father-in-law, Robert Stripling; and brother-in-law, Robbie Stripling.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Angie Dumestre; son, Christopher Lance Dumestre; mother-in-law, Linda Stripling; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Carl Nolan, Caleb Temple, Cade Temple, Stacy Beckham, Marshal Matlock and Josh Dupree.

Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Dupree.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
