Funeral services for Mr. Larry Wayne Cole, age 77 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Terry Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Larry attended Marion Schools. He had over 47 years in the oil and gas industry as a roughneck, driller, tool pusher, OIM, and off shore drilling consultant. Larry was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Upon his retirement, Larry enjoyed working in his yard. He was known as the "ORGE" to his family because he loved to aggravate them any chance he had. Larry was well known by his work ethic and the men that he mentored in the oil field. He loved America and was a Patriot.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents: James Evans and Roma David Hunter Cole Brigman; brother: Jimmy Lane Cole; nephew: David Brown; and niece: Amanda McKinnie.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Vicki Kennedy Cole; daughter: Deanna Elizabeth Cole; sons: David Wayne Cole, Malcom Derrick Cole, and Darryl Evans Cole; sister: Sharon McKinnie (Virgil); grandson: Dax Evans Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Wayne Cole, Malcom Derrick Cole, Darryl Evans Cole, Pat Kennedy, Virgil McKinney, and Freddy Nyegaard. Honorary pallbearers will be Dax Cole, Parker Haile, and Melvin Fields.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to the service, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
