Mr. Jon Larry Booth, age 78 of Farmerville, LA, passed away on June 9, 2025. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home, Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a friend to many people. Larry was a graduate of Farmerville High school. Larry worked and retired with Claiborne electric for 46 years. He was also a Union Parish constable for 16 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting deer and ducks and turkey. Larry loved taking his grandchildren fishing. Larry was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Miller and Ernestine Beal Booth and one brother Ronnie Booth.

Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years: Teresa Acree Booth; son: John Salter (Julie); daughters: Dori Cook (Jody), Kim Booth and Wendy Booth; brother: Scotty Booth (Terri); grandchildren: Tristan Salter, Teigen Salter, Teryn Salter (Sam), Remington Snyder (Ben), Ever Cook, Tori Mahrous (Kareem) and Abby Holden; nephews: Ben and Joe Booth. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
