Keri Henderson
Price
Oct 17, 1963 — Jan 26, 2024
Rocky Branch
Funeral services for Mrs. Keri Henderson Price, age 60 of Rocky Branch, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. Bro. Rubin Weaver and Bro. Alan Miller will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Keri graduated as Salutatorian from Spearsville High School where she was also active in softball and basketball. She also played the piano for various churches and was the youth choir director. If you had the privilege of hearing Keri sing, you know she had the voice of an angel. She worked various jobs in Louisiana and Arkansas until she graduated from the nursing program at Southern Arkansas College in 1991. Nursing was her true calling. Keri worked as a home health nurse where she went above and beyond for her "babies". Her other love was children and it didn't matter whose children they were. She was known by her family as the "mother of all children" and it was not in her make-up to be anything else. "Tottie" was loved by all the kids who knew her and it was a role she cherished dearly. Keri's many friends and coworkers were cherished by her and have forever made an impression on her family.
Keri and Eddie married October 1, 1999 and shared 24 years together. They raised three children together and shared all the ups and downs of life. Through it all, there was love.
Keri always had a special bond with Mamaw Auby and all her siblings; she had an extra special relationship with her sister, Kim. Their bond helped them celebrate the best of times and lent unwavering support at the worst of times.
Keri was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Rex Henderson and Betty Jackson Roan; maternal grandparents, D.B. and Marie Jackson; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Auby Henderson; and her uncle, David Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie "Fred" Price; her three children, Halie Lively (T.J.), Jesse Price (Shelby), and Leslie Plauche (Cory); grandchildren, Kane Barton, Caleb Lively, Harlee Keiffer, Jena Plauche, Hazel Plauche, Abigail Price, Juniper Landry, and Walker Landry; her brother, David Paul Henderson (Deanna); sisters, Kim Stanley, April Gregory (Dale), and Crystal Bearden (Stacy); her three uncles, Jimmy Jackson, Charles Jackson, and Joe Jackson (Peggy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mazion Pepper, Tim Sharplin, Sam Hatten, Bill Saunders, Gary Roark, and Todd Rockett. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Foster.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church.
