Graveside visitation for Kenneth Dewain Green will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 1 PM at Mount Tabor Church Cemetery with services to follow.  His brother, Dr. Gary Green, will  officiate the service. Pallbearers will be John Johnson Jr., Noah Thomas, Joseph Odom, Daniel Whiddon, John–Barron Johnson, Brett Johnson, and Jody Moss.

Ken was born on June 5,1949 and passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. Ken graduated from Linville High School in 1967 and Louisiana Polytechnic Institute in 1971 with a degree in electrical engineering. After achieving the rank of 7th degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate, Ken inspired many students over the years. He was also a captain in the Louisiana National Guard. One of Ken's favorite activities was spending time on the Buffalo River, enjoying nature, and meeting people along its course.

Ken is survived by wife, Sherry Ann Barron Green; son, Nicholas Barron Green and wife Brandi Davidson Green; grandchildren Madison Thomas Duet, Noah Thomas, and Piper Annabelle Green; great grandchildren Greyson Duet and Myles Thomas; sister Lanora Ann Green Aulds and husband Glenn Aulds; sister Terri Lea Hardy and husband George Michael Hardy; and brother Gary Lynn Green and wife Frances Ann Morris Green; nieces April Johnson, Miranda Moss, and Jessica Lynn Green; nephews Joseph Barron Odom, Daniel Barron Whiddon, Tony Wayne Aulds, Travis Samuel Green, Jacob Daniel Green, and Lucas McRay Green; and uncle Gawain Green.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Miles K. Green and Patricia Ann Spigener.
