A memorial service for Julio Caesar "Jay" Aguilar, 45, of Farmerville, La., will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. prior to the memorial service.

Julio Aguilar was born June 1, 1977 and passed away June 19, 2022. Jay worked hard as a construction superintendent for Terral Construction LLC and loved his work. He spent many years working with the Terrals and they were family. In his last few years, family became his priority. What brought him the most joy was helping his mother and sisters, watching his boys grow into young men, and spending time with his beautiful granddaughters. There was not a family member or friend that he would not lend a hand to. He found peace and love with his fiancée, Cassie.

He is preceded in death by his fiancé, Vickie Ann Morris; wife, Cindy Aguilar; maternal grandparents, Levi Clendon Redden and Marteal Tidwell Redden; and cousin, Bradley Knight.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Daniel Jacobb Aguilar (Destinee) and Michael Austin Aguilar; mother, Sherry Redden Braswell; father, Julio Caesar Aguilar, Sr.; two grandchildren, Hollee Grace Aguilar and Rylee Payton Aguilar; fiancé, Casondra Norwood and her two children, Rylan Norwood and Jasmine Lambert; four sisters, Tammy Patrick Hughes, Angel Darnell Bryan, Jennifer Gail Aguilar, and Jessica Jackson (Calvin); one brother, James Aguilar; along with numerous family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kendall Terral, Thomas Terral, Josh Terral, Casey Kennedy, Troy Matthews, and Zachary Smith.
