Funeral services for Judy Christian Thompson, 74, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Thompson passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.  Mrs. Thompson enjoyed working puzzles, loved hunting and loved her grandchildren.  She was a good mother, devoted wife and one of the strongest women her family had ever known.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Thompson, Sr.; parents, Purvis & Myrtis Christian; son, Jeffery Thompson; great-granddaughter, Aubree Smith; and siblings, Elaine Loard and George Lee Christian.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Bain, Jr. (Petra), Lisa Phillips, Elsie Cottrell (Jim), Jason Thompson (Rosanna), James Thompson (Konnie), Jimmy Thompson (Patsy) and John Thompson, Jr. (Delores); siblings, Paul Christian, Susan Farque, David Christian and James Christian; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Javen Cottrell, Byron Pace, Johnny Smith, Jeffrey Thompson, Jordan Cottrell and Tyler Miller.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
