Funeral services for Ms. Joyce Earline Isaac, age 74 of Downsville, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Will Englerth officiating. Burial will follow at Holmesville Cemetery in Downsville, LA  under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Joyce Earline Isaac, Born March 24, 1947, arrived at her heavenly home on October 27, 2023. She was a longtime resident of Downsville, La and died peacefully at Ruston Nursing and Rehab. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles T. Isaac and a cherished mother of Avery Isaac, Barry  Isaac, and the late Dana Isaac. Joyce will be greatly missed, and held in deep remembrance for her spunk, vibrance, and her strong spirit. For not only her family, but her long time friend Shirley Wall. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and support they have received during this difficult time.

Ms. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Charles T. Isaac; parents Edward and Nobie Blackman Gibson; her daughter Dana Isaac; granddaughter Megan Starkenbaum; grandson Adam Isaac; and her sister Joe Ellen Goings.

She is survived by her sons James Avery Isaac (Haley) and Lance Barry Isaac (Allison); grandchildren Dustie Flowers, Chandler Flowers, Lance Isaac (Katelyn), AnnaBelle Isaac, Chad Bearden, and Zach Lipscomb; two brothers Billy Gibson (Shirley) and Jimmy Gibson (Kathleen); her brother in law Ray Goings; sister Carolyn Colwell (Mike), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Isaac, Chad Bearden, Zach Lipscomb, Ike Lipscomb, John Everette Bearden, and Ashley Bailey.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home.
