A Memorial service for Mr. Joseph Rockie Schick, Jr. will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Mr. Joseph grew up in Gulfport, MS where he played baseball and football at his local high school. He enjoyed watching baseball and softball in our area from Little Leagues to High School. Mr. Joseph had a passion for stock car racing and participated in by helping local racers and help build dirt tracts. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Mr. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Rockie Schick, Sr. and Alice Marquerite Bailey, his wife of 50 years: Gloria Dawn Kennedy Schick, his son: Alvin Schick, and his sister: Cecilia McKnight.

He is survived by his brother: Charles T. Schick and his wife Karen, his sister: Theresa S. Hargrove and a number of nieces, nephews, and many great friends.
