Funeral services for Johnny Wayne Chevallier, 80, of Downsville, La, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Leach officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Chevallier passed away on December 23, 2020.  Mr. Chevallier was a very hard worker who enjoyed hunting and racing, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Chevallier was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Inez Chevallier; three brothers, Don Chevallier, Tommy Chevallier and Gary Chevallier; and granddaughter, Kelly Sunshine Antley.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Wanda Gaye Chevallier; four children, Johnette Bearden (Stan), Annette Ricker, Rhonda Barrett (Max) and Stephen Chevallier (Ashlea); six grandchildren, Jennifer Bearden, Hobie Goodwin, Justin Goodwin, Tiffany Wilkes, Drake Chevallier and Braylea Chevallier; one great-grandchild, Patton Wilkes; one sister, Annie Ruth Terral; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trey Patton, Rex Skains, Terry Alvis, Rodney Remore, Junior Chevallier and Earl Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Wilkes, Hobie Goodwin, Andy Estes and Johnny McFarland.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
