A funeral service for Mrs. Joanne Caskey Terral, 87, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 10:00 AM at Farmerville First Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating the service. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery in Farmerville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Joanne Terral passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Mrs. Joanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her children and grandchildren, and nothing thrilled her more than to see all of her family together. Mrs. Joanne graduated from Farmerville High School in 1952 and was also a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. In the early part of her life, she worked at Farmerville Bank as a secretary. She was an extraordinary cook. She enjoyed cooking for others and for large events. Some of her hobbies consisted of writing, reading books, and growing flowers. She was a former president of Farmerville Garden Club, and was also a member of Farmerville Book Club. Mrs. Joanne was a faithful member of Farmerville First Baptist Church where she was also a member of the choir. Mrs. Joanne was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Joanne is preceded in death by: her husband of 35 years, Rannie Terral; her parents, John Henry and Berna Lee Norris Caskey; and her brothers, John Lyn Caskey and Don Ray Caskey.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her children, Kendal Terral (Kahla), Caskey Terral (Michelle) and Romaine Farrar (David); her brother, Gerald Norris Caskey (Debbie); her sister, Angela Caskey Meeds (Charlie); her grandchildren, Thomas Terral (Katelyn), John Terral (Hannah), Josh Terral, Lacy Terral, Johnathan Terral (Sarah), Sam Terral, Mary Elizabeth Terral, Henry Terral and Annamari Farrar; her great-grandchildren, Lylen, Vivian, Charlotte, John Henry and Thomas Wade; her niece, Anna Claire Pritchard; and her great-nephews, Charlie and Brooks; along with other family and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Jonathan Terral, Thomas Terral, John Terral, Sam Terral, Josh Terral and Henry Terral.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Farmerville First Baptist Church in Farmerville, La.

The family would like to thank the Arbor Rose Assisted Living staff, the Union General Hospital staff and Dr. Steven Unkel for the loving care they provided for their mother.
