Funeral services for Jo A. Veatch, 86, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Marion with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Bernice under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Veatch, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home Dec. 13, 2016. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Walter H. Veatch; daughter, Judy L. Bearden; parents: James & Nancy Cole; 2 brothers: Leon Cole and Dewey Cole; and 1 grandson, Zachary Neel.

Left to cherish her memory are 2 sons: Walter Veatch & wife, Tonya of Farmerville and Jeff Veatch & wife, Chasten of Ruston; 3 daughters: Linda Reeves & husband, Billy of Marion, Becky Busby & husband, Wayne of Bernice and Debbie DeWitt & husband, Daniel of Farmerville; 16 grandchildren: Joe Reeves, Tony Reeves, Tammy Jones, Cindy Dumas, Jennifer Moore, Leslie Gray, William Busby, Daniel Busby, Randall Veatch, Leah Harris, Cassie Smith, Richard Neel, Allie Veatch, Ella-Cate Veatch, Hudson Veatch, and Michael Bearden; 23 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives, many friends and her church family.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Joe Reeves, Tony Reeves, Chris Jones, Jonathon Dumas, Ben Moore, Adam Gray, Richard Neel, Josh Harris, and Patrick Smith.

Visitation is 5-8pm Friday, Dec. 16th at First Baptist Church in Marion and 1-2pm Saturday at the church.
