A funeral service for Mr. Jimmie Milton "J.M." Roberson, 86, of Sterlington, La., will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 2:00 PM at Crestview Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Cemetery in Farmerville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Crestview Baptist Church in Farmerville, La., prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Jimmie Roberson passed away on December 24, 2021. Mr. Jimmie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family and they meant the world to him. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden, and he was good at it. He also loved to take his wife, Jackie, to Mountain View, Arkansas for the gospel 'sangin'. Jimmie was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Furmon and Minnie Roberson; brothers, Arthur Roberson and Wallace Roberson; sister, Maurine Armstrong; and son, Mickey Roberson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68 years, Jackie Roberson; son, Michael Roberson (Buffy); daughter-in-law, Janet Roberson; grandchildren, Michelle Roberson, Kristen Lile (Brett), Caleb Roberson, Garrett Roberson, Hannah Farrar (Tyler), and Jonathon Thomas (Madeleine); great-grandchild, Cypress Mae Farrar; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Roberson, Garrett Roberson, Bill Brown, Ronnie Tisdale, Steve Hollis, and Brad Roberson.
