Funeral services for Jim "Clearwater" Gray, 67, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating. Interment will follow in Conway Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. Gray passed away on December 27, 2019 in Monroe, La. Jim was a man of faith who loved life. He enjoyed playing music and spending time with family and friends. "Clearwater" had a keen sense of humor and was a jokester. He was a man who would speak his mind, unfiltered. Mr. Gray was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his father, Maynard Gray; his parents, Listen & Joan West Lowery; wife, Cheryl Deane Dearringer Gray; son, Jimmy Gray; and three brothers, Alston Gray, Pat Gray and David Gray.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Timothy Gray & wife, Heather; daughter, Deanna Gray; six grandchildren, PFC Zachary Beckham & wife, Emilie, Alyssa Gray, Kaylee Beckham, Anjelica Collins, Destinee Collins and Jeremiah Skipper; three brothers, Robert Slayton & wife, Judy, David Lowery & wife, Debbie and Ricky Slayton; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Johnson, Stacy Beckham, Paul Methvin, Barney Canterberry, Casey Traylor, John Kendall, Brett Guice and Barry Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are PFC Zachary Beckham and Mitch Holloway.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
