Funeral services for Jesse Gilbreth Giddens, Sr., 81, of Farmerville, La. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Hill~Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.

Jesse was born July 13, 1939 in Annona, Tx. and passed away April 17, 2021 in Farmerville, La.  He was a graduate of Farmerville High School and Northeast Louisiana University.  Jesse retired after a long career as a Claims Adjuster in the insurance industry.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Porter Giddens; mother, Loma Giddens; brothers, Wayne and Billy Grey Giddens; and son, Noel Brent Giddens.

Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sporting events, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Faye Taylor Giddens; sister, Fern Nelson; son, Gil Giddens & wife Kelly; son, Jimbo Giddens & wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Wes, Brock, Cade and Brooke Giddens; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Wes, Brock, Cade, John Wayne and Randy Giddens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jearl Savage, Paul Hays, Whit Fitzgerald and Benny Wilson.
