Jerry Dean "Red" Ramsey went to his heavenly home of February 15, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Jerry was a lifelong resident of Union Parish. He was fondly known as "Red" or "Earl" in his community. He enjoyed the outdoors and exploring D'Loutre searching for Indian artifacts. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his father, Royce Dean "Preacher" Ramsey.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, JoAnn Johnston Ramsey; brother, Curtis Wayne Ramsey; two uncles, Glynn Johnston and Boots Ramsey & wife, Judy; two aunts, Bobbie Jean Norris and Maxine Payne; niece, Megan Ramsey Pipes; nephew, Jacob Nathaniel Ramsey; two great nephews; and a host of friends and family.
