Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Edward Haye, age 59 of Rocky Branch, La will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Crestview Baptist Church with Casey Chapman and Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mr. Jerry's life revolved around the Churches he attended; from Paron Baptist to Crestview Baptist, all of his life. He was an accomplished gospel singer and purchased hundreds of Gospel tracts, CDs and DVDs. Jerry's favorite time of the year was when he would visit Branson, Missouri to attend all the musical shows. He was a member of a youth Gospel Quartet for many years. His ministry was going to area nursing homes where he assisted with their needs and helped the staff and of course he loved singing to everyone. Jerry's favorite sport was Bowling, where he bowled with Joe Neese, his 1 ^st cousin, in a bowling league in West Monroe. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Jerry is preceded in death by his mother: Polly Smith Haye, maternal grandparents: Prentiss Smith and Nanie King Smith, paternal grandparents: Elton Haye and Ella Mae Moore Haye, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his father: John E. Haye, sister: Venessa Chapman (Bimbo), niece: Ashley Reeves, nephews: Casey Chapman (Ashley), aunt: Adina Miller (Dickie), uncle: Nickey Haye, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Miller, Wade Miller, Chris Haye, Bradley Smith, Steve Auger, and Casey Chapman.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023 at Crestview Baptist Church.
