Funeral services for Jerri "Star" Tomera, 34, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Marion with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating.  Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Jerri "Star" Tomera passed away on January 7, 2021 in Marion, La.  She was a very loving, kind and caring person.  Star had a very strong personality and took what was given to her graciously.  Drawing, painting, and writing poetry were her hobbies.  Through her illness, she was still a rock to many people.

Mrs. Tomera was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Betty Cain Everett; and paternal grandfather, Ted Heard Everett.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Adam Tomera; daughter, Cadee-Mae Tomera; son, Zachary Austin Tomera; mother, Jerri Lynn Everett; father, Donald Clyde Everett; maternal grandmother, Capt. Penny Finley & husband, Jerry Wayne Finley; sister, Bennie Ortega & best friend, Oscar; cousins, Scotty Spurlin and Destini Paudel; special friends, Marybeth Slade, Bethany Catlin, Candra Ford and Justin Gregory; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Marion.

The family requests that any donations be made directly to Farrar Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expenses.
