A funeral service for Mr. Jearl T. Savage, 91, of Farmerville, La., will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. with Bro. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill-Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, La.

Mr. Jearl was born August 8, 1930 and passed away on January 16, 2022. He was employed for over 20 years at IMC Angus Chemical Company. After his employment, Jearl raised cattle and worked on his farm. He was known for keeping himself busy by working outside. Jearl was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Jearl was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Joyce Savage; infant son, Tommy Wayne Savage; parents, Simp and Clemmie Mize Savage; brother, W.D. Savage; and sister, Willie V. Martin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ronnie Savage (Judy); grandchildren, Connie Ginn, Thomas Savage (Pam), and Donnie Savage (Lynette); great-grandchildren, Austin Ginn, Blake Ginn (Bonnie), Hayden Ginn, Kayla Price (Garrett), Morgan Savage, Kannon Savage, Kooper Savage, and Kruze Savage; great-great-grandchildren, Brycen, Brexley, and Palmer; his special friend as close as a sister, Ida Belle Albritton; along with numerous family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Austin Ginn, Blake Ginn, Hayden Ginn, Kannon Savage, Kooper Savage, Kruze Savage, Garrett Price, and Edward Dixon.
