Funeral services for Jarrell Guthrie Dean, age 54 of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday. July 30, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Flemimg officiating.

Jarrell was a graduate of Linville High School. After high school, he began his career working as an auto body mechanic. Jarrell lived a simple life; he was a hard worker and provider for his two sons who were his whole life and heart. He followed in his dads' footsteps and became a superior auto body man. Jarrell excelled as an All State and All-Star high school baseball player at Linville. He was very tenderhearted, empathetic, and just a loving and caring man.

Jarrell was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Dean, Jr.; brother, Shawn Dean; paternal grandparents, Lloyd Dean, Sr. and Mary Martinez; and maternal grandparents, Leze J. and Marion Rose Trichell.

He is survived by his mother, Sue Roberson; two sons, Dalton Dean and Jessy Dean; sisters, Kimberly Thompson (Chad) and Michelle King (William); brothers, William "Chinky" Dean and Willie Dean; and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, prior to the service, until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
