Funeral services for Jared Randall Bowen, age 41 of Marion, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at First Assembly of God in Farmerville, LA with Bro. Michael Thomas and Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Linville, La under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Jared was a graduate of Linville High School and attended Panola Jr. College in Carthage, TX, on a baseball scholarship and also attended University of Arkansas, Monticello. He was employed with Entergy Transfer for over 23 years as a pipeline and compressor technician. Jared also raised cattle.

Jared was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mary Gates and Marlyn Trout; paternal grandfather: Jack Bowen; and his aunt: Sue Frisby Turner.

He is survived by his parents: Randy and Deb Frisby Bowen; paternal grandmother: Barbara "Nana" Smith Bowen; sisters: Amber Lehman (Matt) and Julie Martindale (Robby); nieces and nephews: Theo, Aury, Brooks Lehman, Ryder, River, and Ridge Martindale; two aunts: Margaret Trout and Jan Howse (Darrell); two uncles: Robby Bowen and Rick Bowen (Diane); special friends: Ben Thomas (Cortney Rhodes) Chris Mike, and Brandon Dixon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Thomas, Brandon Dixon, Chris Mike, Eric Moore, Brandon Cash, and Nick Cash. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers in love, Robby Martindale and Matt Lehman, as well as his Energy Transfer co-workers.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, prior to the service, Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at First Assembly of God.

In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery fund or St. Jude.
