A memorial service for Janice Fontaine Chevallier, 72, will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville with Bro. Jerry Whitman officiating.

Mrs. Chevallier, was a lifelong native of Downsville, LA and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
She worked and traveled with her husband, Tommy Chevallier, throughout the United States in the trucking industry. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her hobbies were working in her flower garden, arranging flowers, and craft work. She went to her heavenly home October 12, 2016. Her family, friends, and neighbors will certainly miss her famous caramel popcorn balls.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Herman and Dollie Mae Frost Tedeton, 1 sister, Izell Spillers, 1 brother, Allen Tedeton, and daughter-in-law, Wendie Chevallier.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Tommy Chevallier of Downsville; 1 son, Thomas E. Chevallier, Jr. of Shreveport, 1 daughter, Felicia Knight & husband, Ray of Downsville; 7 grandchildren: Ashley Gilbert (Justin), Trey Reeves (Melanie), Ethan Chevallier, Sterling Magee (Shannon), Logan Self, Nicona Self, and Rachel Russell; 5 great grandchildren: Alan Cross, Kaden Staddford, Maddox Gilbert, Malynn Reeves, and Alyssa Zimmerman; and many friends.

Visitation is 1:30pm-3:00pm Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home.
