Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Lee Allen, age 86 of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA with Bro. Bubba Hoggett officiating. Interment will follow in Roark Allen Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.
On March 3, 1954, Mrs. Jane married the love of her life, Robert Spence, "Spence" Allen. After graduating from Farmerville High School in May,
she joined Spence, stationed in Hawaii, for an 18 month long honeymoon. After returning to the states, she raised 4 children who loved her dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marion. From a young age Mrs. Jane enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a very talented artist. She loved to dance to a lively tune. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren,
who she adored.
Mrs. Jane was preceded in death by her parents: John Lee and Jamie Dean Turnage, son: Robert Spencer "Rob" Allen, Jr., granddaughter Rebekah Allyson Hensarling, and son-in-law: Gary Hensarling.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert Spencer "Spence" Allen, Sr., daughters: Kathy Jane Hensarling, Karen Ann Lemoine (Carl), and Laurie Lee Ellis (Bubba), 9 grandchildren: Robert Lemoine (Summer), Billy Lemoine (Aliscia), Krystal Procell (Brandon), Kassie Booker (Aaron), Chris Ellis, Emily White (Andrew), Joshua Caleb Ellis, Jacob Lee Lemoine (Jade), Bethany Ashton Ellis, and 18 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Janes grandsons.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Mrs. Jane's caregiver, Jamie Smith, for her special and loving treatment of their loved
one.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:30 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Marion, LA.
