Mr. James "Ches" Rea, a retired carpenter, went to his heavenly home May 15, 2016. He was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Spearsville.

He was preceded in death by his wives: JoAnn Rea and Janet Rea; 2 sisters: Lona Hammett and Beatrice Lee; and 1 brother, Britton Rea.

Left to cherish his memory are his 4 daughters: Patricia Bonner of Spearsville, Angie Mason of Spearsville, Karen Rea of Bernice, and Stacey Brazzel of El Dorado, AR; 1 sister: Melba Farrar of El Dorado, AR; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

There are no planned services at this time. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
