Mr. McGee went to his heavenly home on April 25, 2018. James and his wife owned and operated McGee Farm Equipment in Oak Grove, La. until they retired and moved to the lake in Farmerville, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He fished on a regular basis and would fry fish as often as possible for anyone. He planted a garden every year and enjoyed giving vegetables to his friends and neighbors.
James was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church. One of his greatest joys was working in the church nursery and he loved all of the children dearly. He had a passion for helping people and could fix almost anything. He loved repairing broken things and he could turn trash into treasure.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, Claude & Ruth Willis McGee.
