Graveside services for James Marshall King, Sr., 61, of Sterlington will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2021 with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating at Ouachita City Cemetery, near Sterlington.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mr. King passed away on May 8, 2021.  Mr. King was employed by Nolan Metal Roofers for many years.  He enjoyed playing golf and fishing.  Mr. King loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Dean Wallace; father, Marshall Raymond King; step-father, Aubrey Day; granddaughter, Autumn Renee Spruell; and brother, Cliff Patton.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, who he loved dearly, Barbara King; three daughters, Summer King, Emma King and Stephanie King; one son, James Marshall King, Jr.; four sisters, Connie Williams, Carla King, Matilda Parker and Bonnie Price; seven grandchildren, Hunter Vogt, Luke King, Brayden Spruell, Landon Spruell, Gracelynn Shirey, Harper Lee Shirey and Charlotte Shirey; best friend, Pine Dupree; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy "Pine" Dupree, Obrien Dupree, Dale Dupree and Chance Dupree.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Ouachita City Cemetery.
