Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Delwin Rodgers, Sr., age 76 of Choudrant, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Lamar Guillot officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Cemetery in Spearsville, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Jackie attended school in Farmerville. He began logging at Timber Industry at a very young age, as a Jack of all trades, until he retired. Jackie enjoyed hunting with his family and he enjoyed cooking. He loved to have fun and was known to have wigs and mask. Jackie was a Christian who loved his family dearly.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents: Henry Carl and Minnie Alice Ellington Rodgers; son: Bryan Rodgers; daughter: Rebecca Rodgers; four brothers: Carlton Rodgers, Jr., Bobby Rodgers, Ted Rodgers, and Fred Rodgers; three sisters: Claudine Rodgers, Gloria Jean Rodgers Grandy, and Clydus Jerry; and granddaughter: Kelsie Willis.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Brenda Rodgers; three sons: Jackie Rodgers, Jr. (Leilani), Joey Rodgers (Michelle), and Josh Rodgers (Amber); two daughters: Stephanie Henry (Tony), Heather Cole (Jesse); 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two grand dogs; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kason Willis, Marcus McCormick, Colby Moon, Brady Hicks, Brent Hicks, and Ty Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Rodgers and Michael Henry.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to the service, Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home.
