A memorial service for Mrs. Jackie Brantley Roberson, age 87 of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 10:00 Am, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home.

Jackie graduated from Linville High School. She was a bookkeeper for many years at Premier Bank and Sterlington Co-Op Ginn. From there, she was a bus driver for Union Parish Schools where she retired. Jackie was a charter member of Crestview Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years. She loved gospel music, visiting Mt. View, Arkansas, loved cooking for her family, and spending time with them.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents: Joe Lee and Karma Crow Brantley; her husband of 68 years: Jimmy M. Roberson; son: Mickey Joe Roberson; sister: Karma Jean Hall; and brother: J.C. Brigman.

She is survived by her son: Michael L. Roberson (Buffy); daughter: Sharon Smith; grandchildren: Michelle Roberson, Kristen Lile (Brett), Hannah Farrar (Tyler), Caleb Roberson (Paige), and Garrett Roberson (Bethany); great grandchildren: Cypress Mae Farrar, Makinli Leonard, and Karson Lazenby; sister: Dora Ann White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
