Funeral services for Mr. Howard F. "Buck" Fellows, Jr. age 83 of Longview, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2024 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ararat Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Buck retired from Shell Pipeline Corporation after 40 years. His favorite past time was fishing throughout North and South Louisiana and Texas. He loved the game of basketball, playing in high school, college, and continued playing and coaching in league play. Mr. Buck was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Longview, Texas.

Buck was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Gladys Joye Hinton Fellows; parents, Howard Francis Fellows, Sr. and Mary Niblett Fellows; brother, Winston Fellows; sister, Kathy Eason; and brother-in-law, Dean Eason.

He is survived by his children, Gary Fellows and Kelli Lynn Fellows; his grandsons, Dru Bennett (Cynthia Thrush-Bennett), and Peyton Bennett (Abigail Juul); nieces Libby Wilson (Kirk N. Wilson), Heather Eason Shanks, and Holly Eason Ibarra; nephews Steve Fellows (Sherry Wood Fellows), Mike Fellows, and Will Eason; and sister-in-law Billie Jean Kennedy (PeeWee Kennedy).

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM PM, Friday, February 9, 2024 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.
