Funeral services for Mrs. Henryetta Shankle, age 79 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. Burial will follow at Conway Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henryetta was born in Stephens, AR on January 31, 1944 to the late Clarence and Billie Lewis. She was a homemaker, seamstress, and quiltmaker. She served her Lord by teaching, quilting, and doing missions work in different churches though the years. Since 2005 Mrs. Henryetta served at Frist Baptist Church Farmerville. She loved her quilting group and Sunday School class, Fidelis. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Henryetta loved all of her family and was a precious friend to many.

Mrs. Henryetta was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Billie Williams Lewis.

She is survived by the love of her life, Billy Edward Shankle; they were blessed with 62 ½ wonderful years of marriage.

Her daughter, Angelia Murphy (Tim) and their three boys.

Her brother, Jimmy Lewis (Val); her sister, Rhonda Taylor; and numerous other family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Colton Murphy, John Murphy, Will Murphy, AJ Smith, Patrick Smith, Ben Smith, and Landon Henry.

Visitation will be held at 12:30 PM, prior to the service at the church.

Memorials can be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA or to Conway Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
