A funeral service for Mrs. Lynette Ramsey, 76, of Spearsville, La., will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 2:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church in Spearsville, La. Interment will follow in Laran Cemetery in Spearsville, La. under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church in Spearsville, La.

Mrs. Lynette went to her heavenly home on November 28, 2021 surrounded by her family. Lynette was a longtime, active member and pianist of Hopewell Baptist Church. Lynette enjoyed cooking and having her family and friends come to her house to eat. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, and working in her yard.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by: her husband of 58 years, Jr. Ramsey; and her father, Raymond Cranford.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her mother, Helen Cranford; four children, Keith Ramsey and wife Tilly, Kenneth Ramsey and wife Chantay, Dewayne Ramsey and wife Tammy, and Donna Banks and husband Randy; thirteen grandchildren, P.J. Ramsey (Michelle), LeeAnn Goss (Brandon), Justin Ramsey (Michelle), Tyler Banks (Reva), Annah Ramsey, Shelby Banks, Cody Ramsey (Alli), Hunter Ramsey, Megan Jerry (Ryan), Blake Ramsey, Taylor Fitzgerald (Weston), Shauna Muraco, and Danielle Fuller (Daniel); seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Cranford (Char); a host of other family and friends, along with her church family which she loved dearly.

Pallbearers will be: Tyler Banks, Justin Ramsey, Blake Ramsey, Cody Ramsey, Hunter Ramsey, and P.J. Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers are Weston Fitzgerald, Brandon Goss, Ryan Jerry, Brent Cranford, and Shane Cranford.
