Funeral services for Mr. Harold Eugene "Gene" Burnham, age 83 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Culbertson Baptist Church in Farmerville with Bro. Kelly Coleman and Bro. Scott Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Culbertson Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Mr. Gene graduated from Ruston High School in 1959. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was a Morse Interceptor having served in the Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1962. Mr. Gene graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1965 as an accountant and serviced as an independent Accountant for many years. He loved wood work, bird watching, and inventing things. He even had a patent. Mr. Gene was also known for raising Bonsai Trees. He was a member of Culbertson Baptist Church where he served as the Church Treasurer for over 42 years.

Mr. Gene is preceded in death by his parents: Neva Dell and Harral Burnham and his brother John Q. Burnham.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Annis Burnham, his son: Heath M. Burnham, daughter: Jenny M. Burnham, sister: Sue Burnham Jordan, brother: Dayton L. Burnham, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dale Putman, Lloyd Otwell, Bill Roberts, Jimmy Spillers, Gaston Alvarez, Tig Gates, and Danny Frasier.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
