Funeral services for Gloria Dawn Schick, 86, of Farmerville will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Father Adren Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill-Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Schick went to her heavenly home on December 18, 2017. Gloria was a lifelong resident of Farmerville and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Farmerville. She was a former bookkeeper of City Drugs of Farmerville.

Mrs. Schick was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley & Sallie Taylor Kennedy; son, Charles Alvin Schick; six sisters; and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, J.R. "Joe" Schick of Farmerville; one brother, Stanley D. Kennedy, Jr. of Farmerville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Dickey Cole, Charles Schick, Kevin Newcomb, Greg Newcomb, Gary Newcomb and Steve Newcomb.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stein Baughman, Jeff Davidson, Tommy Lannon and Tim Hicks.

Visitation will be from 10:00am till time of service on Saturday, December 23, 2017.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joan Blondin, Dr. Herchel Harter, Dr. Steven Venters, Dr. A.C. Wadlington, Dr. J.T. Henry, Darra Jung, RN, DON, and the staff at Union General Hospital.
