Funeral services for Gloria Dodd Nevala, age 88 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Gloria was a Christian woman who loved the Lord and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gloria was a life long member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James E. Nevala; her parents, Al and Effie Patrick Dodd; brothers, Tedd and Raymond Dodd; and sisters, Evelyn Stell, Dovie Frith, Robbie Mashaw, and Peggy Harrelson.

She is survived by her sons, Danny (Alicia) and Bill Nevala; grandchildren, Calvin Nevala, Erin Nevala, Russ Nevala, and Nicholas Nevala (Julia); great grandchild, Noah Nevala; sister, Inez Malone; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Dodd, Lavelle Dodd, Pat Martindale, Paul Eubanks, Royce Temple, Jimmy Brantley, and Gary Mashaw.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Crossroads Baptist Church.
