A graveside service for Mr. Glenn N. Barron, age 89 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Spearsville Community Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home

Mr. Glenn was a graduate of Spearsville High School and attended Louisiana Tech University. He served over 30 years with the Union Parish Sheriffs Office as a Deputy and Sheriff for three years. Mr. Glenn was instrumental in developing air plane pilots to receive their license. As an FAA examiner he did over 3,000 check rides. He then went on to design and build over 20 airplanes. Mr. Glenn was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmerville. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lucille Rockett Barron; sister, Verna Barron; and brother, Dwain Barron.

He is survived by his two sons, Stacy Barron (Jerri) and Jason Barron (Andy); grandchildren, Jade Pritchard (Greg), Jacy Barron, Jackson Barron, Seth Barron, Joseph Barron, and Cayden Barron; and two great grandchildren, Gabriel Pritchard and Christian Pritchard.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, May 3, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA.
