Funeral services for Glenn Holloway, age 81 of Bernice, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 04, 2022 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA with Dr. Craig West officiating.

Mr. Glen graduated from Farmerville High School before attending LSU. He married Bettye Simpson and they moved to Houston, where they started their family and were blessed with a daughter. Glen and his brothers started a very successful business and he became an active member of the Rotary Club. While in the Rotary Club, he held several offices and traveled extensively. Upon his retirement he and Bettye returned to their home community and built his retirement home. Sadly, after reaching this milestone in their life, Glen lost Bettye. After moving forward alone, he met and married Julia Wells.

Glen enjoyed hunting and fishing, visiting in the community and attending family reunions. He was a great family man, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a lifelong Child of God.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Gladys Wells Holloway, his first wife Betty, one sister; Charlene Holloway Ernst, four brothers; George, C.D., Bobby and Floyd Holloway.

Survivors include his wife Julia Wells Holloway, daughter Sharon Holloway Hammock, step daughter Barbara Reese, two grandchildren; Remy Baker and Wyatt Hammock, three sisters; Daisy Daniels, Ann Martin, and Tina Malone (Henry), one brother; Harry Holloway (Janna), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, November 03, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home.
