A private graveside service for Mrs. Gilda Gulley Fowler Tucker, age 75 of Marion, LA, will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Roark Allen Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Gilda was a graduate of Marion High School and North Central Vo-Tech. She started her career with State Farm Regional Insurance Company in Birmingham, Alabama before transferring to Monroe, LA. Gilda later went to work for CenturyLink in Marion and the corporate office in Monroe, LA. She retired after over 30 years at the company. Gilda spent her free time reading and was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.

Gilda was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Boyd Fowler and her husband of 15 years, Danny Tucker; her parents, Charles H. "Doc" Gulley, Jr. and Dawn Futch Gulley.

She is survived by her son, Michael Fowler; sister, Gerri Allen (Danny); brother, Buddy Gulley (Pam); nephew, Brian Allen (Gina); niece, Mallory Gulley Wells (Elmer); three great nieces, Lexie Allen, Evan Wells, and A.J. Wells; two great nephews, Landry Allen and Avery Allen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton McKinnie, Brian Allen, Joe Booth, Elmer Wells, Danny Cain, and Andy Nelson.

The family would like to thank Caring Hands Hospice for their outstanding care and attention to Gilda, especially Charissa McKinnie, Michelle Boyd, and Chelsea Breed.
