Graveside services for Gena Reeves, 59, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, near Marion, La., with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Reeves went to her heavenly home on December 21, 2020.  Gena was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother.  Her grandchildren were her life.  She loved football with her favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints and the Union Parish Farmers.  Gena couldn't wait for Saturday's to get here so she could go yard selling.  Mrs. Reeves drove a school bus for Union Parish Schools for over 35 years.  Gena was a dedicated fan and bus driver for the Marion High School Panthers.  Gena will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Cates and Sue Holley; and two sisters, Sandy Cates and Paula Holley.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 44 years, Roger Reeves; three children, Roger "Little Rock" Reeves (Brooke), Bobby Reeves (Veronica) and Allen Reeves (Angela); five grandchildren, Victoria Landry, Bobby D. "Little Man" Reeves, Jayden "Jaybird" Reeves, Gabrielle Reeves and Roger "Trey" Reeves, III; one great-grandchild, Esme' Landry; four siblings, Frank Cates, Kirk Cates, Sonya Cates and Cammy Holley; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Tassin, Troy Miller, Frankie Cates, Joey Gaspard, Kenny Terrell and Kirk Cates.
