Graveside services for Gary Lynn Niemeyer, 57, of Spearsville will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Pisgah cemetery in Bernice. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Niemeyer passed away on February 20, 2019. Gary was a very private person who loved the simple life. He was an outdoors person who loved his dog, Champ, and he loved nature. He had a good sense of humor and he enjoyed playing pranks on his friends, family and co-workers. Gary was a hard worker who took pride in his work as a painter.

Mr. Niemeyer was preceded in death by his father, Billy Niemeyer; and sister, Elisabeth Niemeyer.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Irene Smith (Jessie); two brothers, Johnny Niemeyer (Pamela) and Glenn Niemeyer (Fanny); one nephew, Ben Jones (Amanda); great nephews, Gabriel Jones, Alistar Jones and Elliot Jones; two nieces, Kristie Primmer (Chas) and Maria Ojeda; great nieces, Journey Primmer and Jaston Primmer; and a host of other friends and family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
