Funeral services for Frankie Darrell Bennett, age 86 of Spearsville, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Antioch Church of Christ in Spearsville with Tommy Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Spearsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.

Frankie was a graduate of Spearsville High School where he played baseball and basketball. He served in the U.S. Army, coming back to Fort Polk to finish out his term. Frankie started his career building poultry housed and eventually building his own. He raised poultry for over 30 years and farmed. Frankie was a lifelong member of Antioch Church of Christ in Spearville.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Jefferson and Anna Belle Risinger Bennett; four brothers: Ralph Bennett, Coy Bennett, J.D. Bennett, and Billy Bennett; and two sisters: Ruthelle Davidson and Floy Wade.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Erma Maxwell Bennett; daughter: Jennifer Wilkinson (Tony); son: Jonathan Bennett; two grandchildren: Taylor and Sarah Wilkinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Bennett, Paul Bennett, Tony Wilkinson, Colby Bennett, Wyatt Risinger, Daniel Farrar, Wayne Deason, Hayden Wright, and Clellon Taylor.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Antioch Church of Christ.
