A private family memorial service for Frances J. Chapman, 81, of Farmerville, La., will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Chapman went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 28, 2021.  Mrs. Frances enjoyed cooking, crouchetting and feeding her birds.  She loved all of her pets, but really enjoyed watching her Red Birds and Doves.  Mrs. Chapman had a servant's heart, seeing the good in everything and making sure that everyone was taken care of.  She loved her children, grandchildren and her entire family. Mrs. Frances will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents Ezra & Rilla Mae Kilcrease Dean; three brothers, Kirby, Loydell and Radford Dean; one sister, Elsie Mae Stead; and first husband, Enoch Willie Dodd.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 20 years, Charles Chapman; two sons, Nicky Kurt Dodd (Lori) and Stephen Randall Dodd (Shirley); two daughters, Susie Halley (Brian) and Patti Odom (Mark); ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Chapman's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. ~ 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
