Funeral services for Florene S. Smith, 81, of Farmerville will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Taylor cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Florene passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Arbor Lake Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson & Vincey Simpson; husband, Bobby Lainge; and husband, John Barkley.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 21 years, Everett Smith, Sr.; children, Angelia Evens of Las Vegas, David Lainge (Sandy) of Phoenix, Michael Lainge (Mari) of Los Angeles, Everett Smith, Jr. of Farmerville, and Linda Garcia (Angel) of Victoria, Tx.; twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Geri Harris (Mike), Thomas Simpson (Katherin) and Henry Simpson (Vicki); and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Lee Johnson, Steve Barmore, Milas Joe Davidson, Rex Thomas, Lester Davidson and Troy Bracknell.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
